Breast-feeding anaphylaxis is reported to be an extremely rare but potentially life-threatening condition. We report a 32-year-old woman who experienced recurrent anaphylaxis associated with breast-feeding. Generalized urticaria and angioedema accompanied by syncope were recurrent immediately after breast-feeding or milk letdown. Skin prick tests for the common food panel were all negative. UniCAP tests were performed to see if specific IgE to milk is present in her serum and the results was found to be negative. After weaning, the symptoms were completely resolved and never recurred. Based on her clinical course, it is believed that she had a breast-feeding anaphylaxis.
